Harlan County star Trent Noah has committed to Kentucky. Noah previously had signed to be a Gamecock at South Carolina but announced he would request a release from his NLI which was a shock to some and all signs later pointing towards Kentucky. Trent Noah is one of the most decorated players in the state of Kentucky’s history. In his Senior season the consensus top 150 player averaged 29.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, 56.0% from the floor, and 43.0% from 3 for Harlan County leading them to the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen championship and receiving All-State honors which came at the hands of Lyon County and future Wildcat Travis Perry the states all time leading scorer in the championship game. Noah looks to join the Cats as a great developmental player and great fit for Mark Pope’s system.
